Recommended Links

Here, we’ve listed our favourite Warframe-related websites. Whether they can help you improve your game, give you some insight into the lore or statistics, or just help you to get your head around the economy of trading, these are all likely to assist the resourceful Tenno.

If you have some alternative suggestions, disagree with something we’ve noted, or if you simply note something we’ve missed, you’re more than welcome to share YOUR favourite site with us via our “Contact Us” page.

Official Warframe Website

We would be remiss to not include the Official website, and I’m sure you all know of it already, but here it is!

Here, you’ll find the latest news, per platform. You’ll also be able to note where each platform is up to in terms of updates, and have direct access to a number of community initiatives (not the least of which being the Forums, of course).

You’ll also be able to input any Promo Codes you might come across (don’t forget FREESWORD if you haven’t used it yet)!

There are plenty of other links, of course – not to forget the Platinum Store for PC players, as well as the link to the Official Merch Store.

Warframe Wiki

You must be brand new if you don’t know about the Wiki. That or you’re one of those folk that isn’t interested in reading about the game online, and is hoping to find everything within the game. Either way, you’ll find yourself on this website soon enough, and you’ll understand why it’s on this list. In fact, you’ll understand why it’s SECOND on this list behind the official site.

The truth is, no matter how hard you try, you won’t find everything you need within the game. Sure, it IS all there, if you look hard enough, but the Wiki makes finding it so much easier.

If you need to know where something drops from, or what kind of damage a psecific enemy takes, or the base stats of a certain weapon or warframe, the Wiki can help.  And if you just want to read about the lore, the Wiki can (partly) help there as well.

Well worth it’s weight in gold, although I’m unsure how much it weighs.

Warframe Subreddit

Not everyone uses Reddit.

Not everyone UNDERSTANDS Reddit.

But when it all comes down to it, Reddit is just a place for like-minded people to chat and share info. It’s an asynchronous chat platform. Or, if you like, you don’t even have to chat, you can just be one of the many thousands of lurkers, and just read what everyone else has to say.

This is the place to go when you want to find out the very latest news and theories in regards to Warframe. Or just to look at someone’s artwork or funny video.

Whatever you come for,  you’ll be glad you came.

Warframe.Market

The more you play, the more you’ll come to understand what certain things will trade for (in terms of their value in Platinum). However, everything fluctuates with time. Spend enough time in the trade chat, and you should have a good grasp on where prices are at.

However, certain items depend on how long they’ve been available, and whether or not they are still readily available within the game (generally Prime weapon and warframe components). While you might have a ballpark understanding of cost, you are unlikely to be correct al the time.

In order to not rip yourself, or your buyer, off – I recommend jumping on to this website to check out prices. You can switch between platforms, and search for anything that can be traded – it’s simple to use.

If you like, you can even set up an account and look to trade directly – this works best for PC players (as it can detect if you are currently online or not, making the process far more simplified), but it can work for all players as well.

Riven.Market

I’ll be honest – I’ve never sold a Riven mod. However, I have bought one. Often the price you are willing to pay is up to you. If you don’t think 1000 Platinum is worth paying, then don’t. But if you just aren’t sure how much you should offer, or how much you could potentially ask for, Riven.Market is a place you can look to get an idea.

Personally, I don’t think it’s going to be super accurate, and I’ve never used the site myself (truth be told), but I know plenty of users that swear by it – and Warframe players can’t be wrong, can they?

Tenno.Tools

Tenno.Tools. What can I say about Tenno.Tools? In brief, it’s a one-stop site if you have an interest in any activity, event, alert, or anything that is going on in Warframe, on any platform.

Given we have the Day/Night cycle on Earth for plant availability (required for crafting Apothics) and we also have the Day/Night cycle for Cetus (for those Eidolon hunters out there), it can also give you the time of day.

It can tell you what parts are on offer in Invasions. It can even tell you what Void Fissure missions are running, what each of the parts of the daily Sorties are AND what each of the bounties are on Cetus! It’s an absolute gem of a website, depending on what you’re looking for.It can also help you track reputation for Syndicates if that’s a thing you want to do. Seriously, bookmark the page (although the name is not hard to remember), it’s a great resource.

Zaw/Kitgun Builder

For new AND old players, building Zaws can be painful. Eventually you will come to understand how the individual components work towards a build, and it won’t be so hard to understand what parts you need to make a specific weapon with specific stats.

However, until that day comes, Zaw Builder can perform all of those tasks for you. Choose bits, and it’ll tell you what you’ll create. And there’s now a Kitgun Builder too – fancy that!

Simple, really.

And if you’re like me, you try not to use your brain as much as possible, so this will come in handy.

Warframe Builder

Have you ever wondered how your current build would look if you fully maxxed out your mods? Or have you ever wondered how that crazy Corrupted Mod people keep telling you about might affect your build?

Warframe Builder is here to help!

The site has access to all the base stats for all the weapons, warframes, companions and so on within the game, as well as all of the mods. You can then create a specific mod loadout and see how that would affect your capacity. You can then max out the mods and see what that does.

Basically, it’s a good way to figure out builds BEFORE you use any forma – it sucks to use four forma only to find that you put the wrong polarity on one of the slots and you need to forma it AGAIN. I haven’t used it a lot, but it has come in handy for those few occasions that I have.

Oh, and did I mention that people can share their builds, and these can be rated by the community? It’s true! It can be confusing, because there can be multiple builds that have good ratings, so you really need to know what you want before you can make a solid choice.

Orokin Archives

A site built by a member of the Cephalon Squared community, long-term Warframe player, and lore buff. GrayArchon has built a site focused on recording and examining all of the lore within the game – right down to listing all of the dialogue spoken by every character. It’s detailed, it’s thorough, and it’s a great resource that is always expanding.

There are a number of other sections being added over time – a spreadsheet to help track resources required to build weapons has recently been added, for example, plus a Damage Calculator is currently in the process of being built.

Not looking to cover any ground that has necessarily been covered before, the Orokin Archives is a different resource that I expect may eventually become indispensable
